Background
I am French, but mainly grew up in Africa and haved lived in many different places in the world. It has gaven me a sense of being a citizen of this World, and has developed my love and respect for the many differences, that to me, express the beauty and power of Nature.

I was attracted by Asian Philosophy that expresses that "the Human Body is closely related to the Mind and to its Environmen"t, and very aware of this century disease so called Stress, and its impact on people and relationships.

The learning process I started soon became my way of life. I define myself as a Life learning addict, it satisfies a stimulating curiosity, and need for humanity.

I value the opportunities I have had to met wonderful people throughout my training, and all the binding and sharing experiences.

We are all in possession of what it takes to express ourselves, and  the body knows this if we learn how to listen to it.

Training
The training I received was from wonderful passionate teachers with inspiring human qualities.

My original training was related to cosmetics and body care.I started my Shiatsu training in 2004 while working in a top-end Spa in Paris. It became  a change of direction in my life and a reflection on which qualities I wanted to bring into my working life.

In December 2009 I was certified by the European Iokai Shiatsu Academy. (http://www.iokaishiatsufrance.fr/isf/ http://iokai.free.fr.free.fr/aise/AISE_ev.html)
This 4 to 6 years long training in Shiatsu requires deep understanding and studies of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and continuous ongoing practice.
I am a member of the European Iokai Shiatsu Association (EISA).

In 2007 during a Stay in the USA I had the joy and opportunity to discover The Green River Dance for Global Somatics  and The Center for Body-Mind Movement (http://www.globalsomatics.com/about/faculty-bios.htm). Since then I enrolled in the Somatic Movement Educator Program at The Center for Body-Mind Movement (http://www.bodymindmovement.com/). I completed the training durung summer 2011.

I have also undergone training by the Thai Institute of Healing Arts,in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Therapeutic Thai Massage. (http://www.taomountain.org/)

Though I am not currently practicing professionally, I share the dream to go back to Thailand in the future to deepen my understanding of this Art and my understanding of body mechanics.

Thai Massage is part of the Wheel of Medicine in Thailand (along with Herbal medicine and prayer), where Body, Mind and Spirit are treated as a whole.

A Thai Massage day begins and ends, with a prayer called the Wai Kru ” honoring the Teacher” Dr. Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha.

In the Therevada Buddhist tradition Dr Jivaka is known as “the King of Doctors”. He was believed to be a friend of the Buddha and the personal healer of his followers.

In my conviction, a good body treatment should be attuned to your specific needs with compassion and kindness, beyond being merely mecanical.
