How long will the Shiatsu session last? You can chose sessions of two types.
60 min (about 50' long treatment). These sessions are recommended as follow up of your previous session, or for ponctual pain or imbalance, or if you are on a schedule.
OR
90 min ( about 80' long treatment)- recommended for the first time, as case history is taken at the first session in order to get an overview of the situation and assess where the person may have too much or too little energy. This includes questions regarding the complaint, past medical history, food, and anything else that may be significant, as well as questions about lifestyle and habits.
These sessions are also recommended for a deeper work.

Where is the studio? The studio is conveniently located in Hong Kong Island, on Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan. It is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the escalators.
What should I wear? Shiatsu and Somatic Movement will often involve a number of gentle stretches and mobilizations and it requires you to wear loose comfortable clothing (including socks and long sleeves), preferably of natural fibers.
You are welcome to change outfit at the studio.
How often should I come? Each person is unique and has unique needs.
If you are experiencing chronic/ancient problems, I recommend coming once a week or every 10 days, for a least 3 or 4 Shiatsu treatments and then extend the time between the sessions.
The aim of Shiatsu is to empower yourself.
Anne usually shows some gentle meridian exercices* you can do on a regular basis to support your body system in betwin sessions and even after.
*Do In An Kyo: gentle exercices aimed at stimulating the flow of Ki/Qi in your body
What may happen after the Treatment? You will probably feel invigorated yet relaxed.
There may be some temporary “healing reactions” as toxins and sometimes, emotions are released, although most people generally experience a sense of increased wellbeing. Drink plenty of water to help facilitate the change.
Shiatsu and Somatic Movement are giving you the tools to understanding and adapting to your daily life.It gives you the insight, the energy to take those little steps toward a better balance, by listening to your body.
Contact Anne as soon as you know ( at least 48 hours ahead), so that someone can benefit of your time slot and so you can reschedule at your convenience.
Please be aware that traffic can be bad, especially in a rainy day, and do make your disposition to arrive on time to benefit fully of your session, even enjoy a healthy cup of tea at the studio.
